New Energy Passenger Vehicles

New energy vehicle refers to the vehicle with advanced technical principles, new technology and new structure, which uses unconventional vehicle fuel as the power source (or uses conventional vehicle fuel and new on-board power unit) and integrates advanced technologies in vehicle power control and drive.
New energy vehicles include four types: hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), pure electric vehicles (BEVs, including solar vehicles), fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs), and other new energy vehicles (such as supercapacitors, flywheels and other efficient energy storage devices). Unconventional vehicle fuels refer to fuels other than gasoline and diesel.
Definition of new energy vehicles: different countries have different references. They are usually called "low pollution vehicles" in Japan and "alternative fuel vehicles" in the United States.
