Hongqi

Hongqi is a car brand directly operated by FAW. On January 8, 2018, FAW released the new red flag brand strategy, taking "Chinese style new noble refined doctrine" as the brand concept. On July 31, 2018, the 60th anniversary celebration of the Red Flag brand officially kicked off. On October 23, 2018, Hongqi Brand signed a contract to become the diamond partner of the 5th World Internet Conference. On January 29, 2019, FAW Red Flag officially reached a strategic cooperation with the Forbidden City. On March 26, 2019, Hongqi Brand joined hands with Yu Lina, a violin artist, to jointly produce the original music theater True Love · Butterfly Lovers. The first Red Flag Carnival was successfully held on July 12, 2019.
In December 2019, Red Flag was selected as one of the Model 100 Brands in 2019 China Brand Power Festival.
In April 2022, FAW joined hands with Israel's Samelet Group to hold the launch ceremony of Red Flag flagship model E-HS9 in Tel Aviv, the central city of Israel, which marks the official landing of Red Flag vehicles in the Israeli market.
